We are very pleased to announce that our Junior Directors have chosen to plant 6 new trees in their favourite nature spot at Orrell Water Park Wigan. The new trees are Rowan trees / Mountain ash or Wiggin tree to us locals, which have replaced some trees that have come to the end of their life. The trees are part of our Bispham Gate CSR projects, which are focused on giving back to the environment in which we feel our small part can help protect our world for future generations. Our junior directors can ensure the trees are well looked after on their frequent visits to the water park, which is the centre of all things great about connecting with nature and having green community spaces to enjoy wildlife and nature at its best.
We have worked closely (so a big shout out) with Kieran Sayer BSc (Hons), from the Biodiversity team in ensuring the trees were well-chosen and expertly planted by the team from Wigan Council.
